Flybrid technology on display in the Science Museum             February 2009

Flybrid Systems are proud to report that a Flybrid high-speed flywheel based KERS has been chosen for display in the Science Museum as part of a new exhibition highlighting the use of F1 technology away from the racing circuit.

The exhibition called FastForward - 20 ways F1TM is changing our world, is located on the ground floor mezzanine of the Science Museum in South Kensington, London and opens on the 11th March 2009 running until the 5th April 2010.

Flybrid Managing Partner Jon Hilton explained his delight at being invited to participate in the exhibition saying 'The Science Museum is a great place to go for inspiration whatever branch of science or engineering you are involved with and the constantly evolving displays combined with modern interactive exhibits make it informative for adults and fun for children. We are truly delighted to be asked to support this exhibit sited only metres away from such historic articles as Stephenson's Rocket, the Apollo 10 command module and the huge Burnley Ironworks Company steam engine which features its own, somewhat larger, version of flywheel energy storage.'
