Flybrid Systems is a member of the Motorsports Industry Association and participate in their events and to a limited extent contribute to their initiatives such as the Motorsport Educator's Forum.

In 2008 Flybrid Systems along with their partners Xtrac and Torotrak were awarded a Business Excellence award by the MIA for Teamwork.
