Flybrid Systems are official sponsors of Formula Student 2008 and are specifically supporting the all new Class 1(A) for alternatively powered vehicles. This promises to be a very exciting event which will see electric, hydrogen and bio fuel powered cars compete directly with their petrol engined equivalents.

Jon Hilton has been Chief Judge of the Formula Student competition since 2006 and firmly believes that this great IMechE initiative improves the education of all those that take part by exposing them to a real world project with time, money and resource limitations.

The 2008 competition will take place on the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th July at the Silverstone Circuit. Admission is normally free - please check with the IMechE with regard to any access restrictions.
