Flybrid Systems were official sponsors of Formula Student 2008 and specifically supported the all new Class 1(A) for alternatively powered vehicles. This was a very exciting event which saw electric, hydrogen and bio fuel powered cars competing directly with their petrol engined equivalents.

Jon Hilton has been Chief Judge of the Formula Student competition since 2006 and has recently been appointed Chairman of the Formula Student organising committee. He firmly believes that this great IMechE initiative improves the education of all those that take part by exposing them to a real world project with time, money and resource limitations.
